Woman is the most beautiful creation of the God.                The sensitive, loving and creative elements of this world, if there is one, is... The Woman. Woman is a symbol of tolerance. Perhaps if the creator - God had not created the women, all the creations would have become completely dull and Virtueless. It is true that god has created woman, gave her the title of power "Shakti", but have mankind understood this power...?                  On one hand people consider woman as a form of primordial energy or on the other hand they consider her as a shoe of the foot. Sometimes it looks like that woman is a puppet that everyone can make control on her by their fingers. First father's puppet, then the husband's and then the son's. She has to pass every test of the world, only then her character is sacred, if not... she is a burden on her father and the stigma on the family.        ...

  શામળદાસ આર્ટ્સ કોલેજ માં ખૂબ જ ઉત્સાહભેર ટ્રેડિશનલ ડેની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી. તારીખ 31/01/2022 ને મંગળવારે શામળદાસ આર્ટ્સ કોલેજના ઇંગ્લિશ ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટ દ્વારા માનનીય આચાર્યશ્રી ડૉ.જે.બી.ગોહિલ સાહેબ ના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ સંપુર્ણપણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા સંચાલિત "ટ્રેડિશનલ ડે"નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન તથા સંચાલન ઇંગ્લિશ ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કોષા ભટ્ટ, તૃષાલી ડોડિયા તથા વિવેક કોતર દ્વારા કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ, રૂઢિચુસ્તતા, પુરુષ પ્રાધાન્ય, અંધવિશ્વાસ, સ્ત્રીભૃણ હત્યા જેવા વિષયો પર સેમિનારનું પણ આયોજન સમગ્ર કોલેજની બહેનો સાડી તથા ભાઈઓ પરંપરાગત પોશાકમાં આવ્યા હતા. તેમજ આચાર્ય થી લઇ તમામ અધ્યાપકો પરંપરાગત પોશાકમાં આવ્યા હતા. સેમિનારમાં સ્ત્રી સશક્તિકરણ, રૂઢિચુસ્તતા, પુરુષ પ્રાધાન્ય, અંધવિશ્વાસ, સ્ત્રીભૃણ હત્યા જેવા વિષયો પર વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ પોતાના મંતવ્યો રજૂ કરી સમાજને નવી દિશા આપવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો. સમાજમાં રહેલા દૂષણો પર કટાક્ષ કરવા માટે સંચાલકો દ્વારા સ્કીટ પ્લે પણ રજૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

  તા. ૦૮-૦૧-૨૦૨૨                  2 જાન્યુઆરી, 2022 ના રોજ શામળદાસ આર્ટ્સ કોલેજના NSS યુનિટ દ્વારા આયોજિત વાર્ષિક શિબિરની શરૂઆત ગ્રામ દક્ષિણામૂર્તિ લોકશાળા, મણાર મુકામે થઈ હતી. કોલેજના ૧૦૦ ચુનીંદા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સ્વયંસેવક તરીકે આ કેમ્પમાં જોડાયા હતા. આ સાત દિવસીય વાર્ષિક શિબિર નું મુખ્ય સ્થળ જ અત્યંત ઉત્કૃષ્ટ હતું, કે જે નાનપણથી જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સ્વાવલંબન ના પાઠ શીખવે છે અને ગ્રામ્ય જીવનને ઉજાગર કરવામાં મહત્વનું યોગદાન આપે છે.                 ઉદઘાટન સમારોહ થી લઈને સમાપન સમારોહ સુધી દરરોજના બૌદ્ધિક સત્રમાં અમે ઘણા બધા વક્તાઓને માણ્યા. જેમાં જાણીતા શિક્ષણવિદ્ ડૉ. મનહરભાઈ ઠાકરે "ગ્રામોદ્ધાર વિના રાષ્ટ્રોધ્ધર નહી" એવા નવા પણ પુરાના વિષયને ધ્યાનમાં લઇ ગ્રામ અભિમુખતા માટે માર્મિક ટકોર કરી. ડૉ.અરુણભાઈ દવેએ તાજેતરમાં ધડાયેલ શિક્ષણ નીતિમાં લોક શિક્ષણના સ્થાન વિશે ની વાત "કમ્પ્યુટર અને કોદાળી ના સમન્વયથી કેળવણી"ના દ્રષ્ટાંત સાથે રજુ કરી. ગ્રામદક્ષિણામૂર્તિ લોકશાળામાં દાદા તરીકે ઓળખાતા સંચાલક શ્રી સુરસંગભાઈ ચૌહાણ...
